In June at rmrk*st, we celebrate all things Gilmore Girls! You know why: June 3rd is a fandom holiday and universal inside joke: it’s a great date for a wedding 👰🏻…or a court date 🛥. IYKYK. But June 3 is also a very important Remarkist app anniversary: on June 3, 2021, the very first Memento, the Original Townie Memento, was dropped by John Cabrera. It commemorated the first series watch party for the Remarkist platform and community. This June, we dug into the Memento catalog to showcase Gilmore themed community content that you may have missed. We also shared Memento Insights created specifically for the Remarkist community by several Gilmore Girls cast members–check them out!
Mementos are key pieces of community contributions, and hundreds have been created by Remarkist community members. These bite-sized pieces of collectible content are digital badges with short creative descriptions embedded in them. Mementos are entirely produced by fans who craft and drop limited edition sets to commemorate events and engage with their favorite stories in our fan-creator ecosystem.
