A look at this month’s community contributions
You know what they say: April showers….and all that. We’ve had quite the deluge here this month at Remarkist–a flood of creativity, if you will. We are excited to bring you this month’s community contributions: a shower of Memento Insights! And if you haven’t already, take a look at the January, February, and March Insights roundups!
What are Memento Insights?
An Insight is article content crafted by community members in the form of Mementos on the Remarkist app. These bite-sized pieces of collectible content are digital badges with short creative descriptions embedded in them. Mementos are entirely produced by fans who craft and drop limited edition sets to commemorate events and engage with their favorite stories in our fan-creator ecosystem.
These Insights were published here at rmrk*st exactly as they appear inside the Remarkist app: the name, formatting, and written descriptions remain unchanged. These preserved artifacts on display may include typos or formatting quirks which we consider part of the collectible work. There may still be editions of these Mementos in our app, and by claiming one, you become a micro-patron of the creators/authors.
More Star Wars fanfic Memento Insights!
You might have noticed that in March, we introduced a Memento Insight series conceived of and created by the hosts of our Star Wars official Slate watch parties happening now in the audio den on the Remarkist app (join us on Thursday nights!). This is a serial fan fiction series, and each Memento Insight serves as a piece of the story. Each film’s watch party host contributes their creative writing to the project. In March we dropped the first two installments, and in April we dropped the next four. Stay tuned–more is to come as we continue our Star Wars watch on the Slate!
