Stranger Things and Even Stranger Games: Join Us For An Upside Down Extravaganza!
Don’t watch the last four episodes alone!
If you’re planning on watching the last episodes of Stranger Things (ever!) dropping this week, we’d love you to watch with us! Even if it’s a second (or third!) viewing for you.
This epic series is the monumental, community fan event of the decade and we are freaking out about the conclusion. Those first four chapters of Season 5 had us screaming at our televisions. So we are planning a week of Stranger Things fun so we can have friends to scream with. Not only will we be watching Chapters Five through Eight together, but we will also be playing some games:
YEEEEESSSSS!!!
There will be six mini-scavenger hunts taking you through our ecosystem and beyond. Each will lead to magical game items that will become useful at later events.
There will also be three trivia events with questions that will range in difficulty from “I watched enough to be somewhat competitive” to full-fledged mind flayers. And then of course, the watch parties–where we’ll laugh together, scream together, cry together, use our psychic powers at the TV together… and then wipe the blood from our collective noses.
If you don’t have an account in our app yet, we’re sending invites between now and the end of the year. We don’t officially open the portal–ahem–doors to Remarkist until Summer 2026, but we’re excited to welcome any new folks who’d like to get in on the fun.
You can find the Remarkist app in the Apple or Google Play store. Once you download and install, from the Sign Up screen request an invite and secure your unique membername. You’ll receive an invite code within a day. More information about the Remarkist app can be found right here!
The thing we’ve always loved so much about Stranger Things is the camaraderie. It started in Season 1 with a D&D party pulling together to rescue their friend from the Upside Down, and it only grew from there. Across every season, those bonds deepened as the group split up, reunited, and faced impossible odds from Demogorgons to the Mind Flayer to Vecna himself.
So we want to bring that same spirit to our Stranger Things challenges. Like past games we’ve played at Remarkist, these will reward folks who work together with others to crack puzzles and pick up game pieces along the way.
It’ll be super helpful to attend our first Scavenger Hunt kickoff event on 12/26 to get the rundown on how the game will go. But if you have to miss it, hop into our Discord where you’re sure to find folks looking to build a D&D style adventure party.
Can’t wait to see you and get started!
