Here at rmrk*st, we celebrate all things Gilmore Girls in the month of June! Why? Well, if you know the show, you know that June 3rd is a fandom holiday amongst enthusiasts! It’s a great date for a wedding 👰🏻…or a court date 🛥. IYKYK. But June 3 is also a very important Remarkist app anniversary: on June 3, 2021, the very first Memento, the Original Townie Memento, was dropped by John Cabrera. It commemorated the first series watch party for the Remarkist platform and community.
Since then, hundreds of Mementos have been created by Remarkist community members. These bite-sized pieces of collectible content are digital badges with short creative descriptions embedded in them. Mementos are entirely produced by fans who craft and drop limited edition sets to commemorate events and engage with their favorite stories in our fan-creator ecosystem.
In June 2022, we had a month-long Gilmore Girls festival at Remarkist where we hosted the Super Sensational Summer Spectacular. We planned watch parties of the series, games, music listening parties and gab sessions. Best of all: we had special guests from the cast and crew join us for episode watches and discussions about their contributions to the show.
Some of these guests were awesome enough to contribute their own Mementos for the community to collect! From original art to memories from their careers, these Mementos are one-of-a-kind pieces of Gilmore Girls memorabilia.
You can find these Mementos as Memento Insights here at rmrk*st. Below is a handy roundup so you can check them out, read some stories, and maybe try to snag a few in the Remarkist app if they’re available! Happy reading!

To find these as Mementos, search each @membername or the event title in the Remarkist app. If all editions have been claimed, you can still support the creators by acquiring one of their other Mementos or tipping them in our KRNL token.
