February is such a short month; hard to believe we are at the end! But the great news about the conclusion of the month is that it’s time to bring you a roundup of all the Memento Insights we published here during the last 28 days. And if you haven’t already, take a look at the January Insights list!
What are Memento Insights?
An Insight is article content crafted by community members in the form of Mementos on the Remarkist app. Remarkists create bite-sized pieces of collectible content, digital badges with short creative descriptions embedded in them. Mementos are entirely produced by fans who craft and drop limited edition sets to commemorate events and engage with their favorite stories in our fan-creator ecosystem.
These Insights were published here at rmrk*st exactly as they appear inside the Remarkist app: the name, formatting, and written descriptions remain unchanged. Think of them as preserved artifacts, on display. In some cases, that may include typos or formatting quirks which we consider part of the collectible work. There may still be editions of these Mementos in our app, and by claiming one, you become a micro-patron of the creators/authors.
Click on those links and show our creators some love by hitting that ❤️ button on each piece! Consider sharing a Memento Insight of your own in the future—just fill out this form to submit a Memento you have planned and would like to be included in an upcoming issue of rmrk*st!
From @clhlittle1, this Memento Insight was created for Trigun: Badlands Rumble, the anime sci-fi action film based on the manga series Trigun by Yasuhiro Nightow.
From @steph, this Memento Insight was created for New Girl, S1, E20, and explores fictional games that appear within our favorite franchises. (Think Cones of Dunshire from Parks & Recreation!)
From @hunter, this Memento Insight, dropped in Black History Month during her BHM series, was created for the beloved film Sister Act. This memento pays tribute to the media that helped shape her cultural education, and how Black representation in these films have shaped generations.
To find these as Mementos, search each @membername or the event title in the Remarkist app. If all editions have been claimed, you can still support the creators by acquiring one of their other Mementos or tipping them in our KRNL token.
Check back next month for more Memento Insights published in rmrk*st, or join us in our app to browse a catalog of thousands of Mementos celebrating and remarking on the stories we love.
