Taylor Swift’s songs often reflect universal experiences of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, resonating with listeners of all ages. This authenticity has inspired countless artists to cover her music by making the songs their own, changing lyrics and/or tempo. Other artists have covered her music and simply stayed true to the original. I view both as beautiful tributes in honoring Taylor Swift and her work.

We visited the different eras of Taylor Swift’s career, and discovered some talented artists along the way.

We listened to some pop punk covers from The Summer Set and Alex Melton.

We were taken aback by acapella music from the University of Rochester Yellowjackets and their rendition of “You Belong With Me.”

We discovered some beautiful male voices in Josh Rabenold, Tyler Ward, José Audisio, and Jonah Baker.

Shania Yan, TikTok/YouTube star from Indonesia, impressed us with her angelic voice singing “Enchanted.”

Butch Walker wowed us with his masterful remake of “You Belong With Me” to fit a then-39 year old male.

We agreed that Kelly Clarkson and Sara Bareilles arguably can do no wrong.

The BBC Live Lounge provided many great performances from James Bay, Imagine Dragons, and YUNGBLUD.

Josiah and the Bonnevilles proved that “Anti Hero” can be a country song. More harmonica, please!

But I think the favorite was Chase Holfelder, who recorded “Betty” in a minor key. I think it is safe to say that I'm not sure if anyone can listen to “Betty” the same ever again. Instead of Taylor's Version, Chase created a different version.
