We didn’t want the fall wardrobe to stop there. And if there’s one TV show whose brand screams crisp cool days 🍁 ❄️ and coffee dreams ☕️, it is Gilmore Girls. So for this month, we asked: What goes well with a hat? A coat. 🧥 And who has the best closet full of an endless amount of jackets and coats? The one and only, Lorelai Gilmore, that’s who.
In October, we will delve into the iconic and eclectic world of Lorelai’s wardrobe to determine the crème de la crème of her coats and jackets. One side of the bracket will be all the trendy jackets, and the other side will keep us warm while being cute at the same time. And we know what you are thinking: How is this fair with the famous pink coat in the mix? 🚨 Spoiler alert: It’s not. We thought the same thing, so we have purposefully left it out to give all of her other fantastic outerwear a fighting chance. 💪
Where and How to Vote 🗳
This time the voting will happen over on our Gilmore Girls Instagram account. Make sure you are following us, and tune in to the Instagram stories on the following days to vote for the jacket or coat that you would want in YOUR closet. Try not to be influenced by the scene or episode if you know the show well. Choose the one that you would wear.
The round of 16 will start on Thursday, October 5–which is the anniversary of the pilot episode 📺! Rounds will continue until Monday, October 16. *No voting happens on the weekend–feel free to enjoy your Friday Night Dinners 🍽 and Saturday Movie Nights 📼 in peace.
Quarterfinals will be Oct 17-20.
Semifinals will be Oct 23 & 24.
The final match-up will be Oct 26.
